About this Dog
IN VERMONT Meet Willow! Here is her video collage: https://youtu.be/vvqbUqJSDPw Willow a is 15 months old (approx. DOB 4-7-20), female, 32 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Willow is incredibly scared puppy; she will do best in a home with experience, another dog, and a secure fenced yard would be ideal! Willow is a sweet, playful, fun-loving girl. She arrived in VT very frightened but has come out of her shell so much since her arrival. She is small but mighty! She loves to run, roll in the grass, chase moths and play. She has been high energy on walks (wants to run) and could use work on her leash manners but she mellows at home and sleeps quietly all night. Her favorites toys are her Kong, tug of war toys and anything stuffed that she can rip apart (dogs love to chew up stuffies). She loves other dogs and has followed her foster 4 legged siblings lead throughout her time in foster. She has been very good natured with all dogs she's met. She can be a bit hesitant if faced with a very big and high energy dog that comes on strong but will warm up quickly. She loves to wrestle with other dogs, chase or be chased and follow other dogs around. She is interested in new people but is still hesitant when encountering strangers (part of this may be due to the fact that her 4 legged foster sister is very fearful of new people). Outside on a walk she is fine passing people/cars/bikes/other dogs (other than wanting to say hi to every dog she sees). At her foster home she has done fine with people visiting and coming and going but prefers to initiate going up to them to sniff and say hi. She does not like being approached suddenly or forcefully. She is great in her crate and makes no noise. She'll go in on the command "crate". When free in the house she hardly barks. She rides really well in the car and will settle in the passenger seat with her head on the console. She would be great with another dog but probably not cats. Willow really has been a great girl and has come so far. She is very smart and has so much more potential. Based on what we've seen here we feel her best home would be one with another dog, older children, and humans that can continue to provide her with regular exercise and playtime as well as to continue to work with her. We're confident she will be an amazing fit for the right family. It has been great to watch her evolve into a more confident, happy dog who flashes her smile on a regular basis. Adopt Willow and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Willow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Willow's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Willow, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Willow's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willow’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Willow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willow’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
