About this Dog
Foster location: Boise ID Breed: Lab Age: 12 years Size: 60 lbs Adoption Fee: $50.00 Spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped Adoption Application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Mischa came to Fuzzy Pawz after finding herself in a local shelter. This poor thing had a bunch of nasty growths all over her body including a deep one on her head that bled constantly! She also had giardia and a wicked ear infection. We had the lumps removed and got the other issues cleared up; it took months but she is now ready to find a forever home. She is the sweetest girl who is all about enjoying the retirement phase of her life. Her foster family has affectionately named her “The Lounge Princess”, as that is her favorite daily activity. Her other favorite activity is eating, which she does with gusto. Even though she can’t read a clock, she always knows when it’s mealtime, and will make sure you do too! Her foster family has only ever heard her bark a handful of times in the several months they have had her, and every time it was just a single “woof” when they weren’t getting her meal quickly enough! While Mischa likes to take it easy and relax most of the day, she does still enjoy getting outside for short, slow walks around the block where she can get some good sniffs. Being a senior dog, Mischa has a few ongoing treatments her new owners will need to commit to. She has some arthritis, which is why she doesn’t move very fast, is deaf in both ears (due to untreated ear infections), and since she came to Fuzzy Pawz she has been diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. This condition makes her have increased appetite and thirst, heat intolerance, and a weakened immune system. She is on daily medication which she will need to continue for the rest of her life. As a side-effect of Cushing’s Disease, she also has multiple benign sebaceous cysts on her skin. She has had several of the larger ones removed while with Fuzzy Pawz, but these will also be something she will deal with the rest of her life. Despite some health conditions, she is very easy to take care of and will be your most loyal companion. She is house-trained, crate-trained, has learned hand signals for “come”, “sit”, and “stay”, and does great on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs. It is unknown how she is with children and cats. Although she has shown no aggression with either when she has encountered them on walks; that being said we would prefer a quiet/calm household with no kids under 15. We will be honest it is not likely that Mischa will live more than 6-12 months; but she is 100% worth living her best life with people who love her! If you’re looking for a loving, easy-going couch potato to add to your family, Mischa is you.

Adopt Mischa and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mischa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mischa's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mischa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mischa's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mischa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mischa’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mischa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mischa’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
