About this Dog
NAME: MAY BOATWRIGHT AGE/GENDER: 3 year old, Female BREED: Unknown mix ADOPTION DONATION: $450.00 HEALTH: May is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. TEMPERAMENT: Sweet HOUSE TRAINING: TBD CRATE TRAINING: Good CHILDREN: TBD OTHER DOGS: TBD CATS: TBD HISTORY: May came to us from Mexico where she was found and saved. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find them a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: May has really come out of her shell since coming into the foster program. She is a sweet, affectionate girl, full of licks and tail wags, and loves the attention of people. So far she has been very quiet, no barking, and only the occasional whining when going into her crate or being left alone. She is eager to please and highly trainable. She appears to be fully house trained. May was initially fearful of a leash, but is now making progress and will benefit from patient training. She enjoys playing with her people (chase the hand), and is also showing an interest in toys. She has had no issues with the other two dogs in her foster home and also seems that she would be just fine as a solo dog. She is a timid eater, not food motivated and has gradually accepted dry kibble along with canned food. She prefers the chewy treats over the crunchy ones, and is so very gentle taking treats from the hand. With her sweet disposition and people pleasing personality she is going to make a wonderful and loyal companion, and will bring joy to whomever adopts her. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs. ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue.
