About this Dog
Meet Timber. This boy is currently being fostered in Wyoming and is looking for his forever home! Timber is a 1.5 year old neutered male Akbash mix. He is lively, outgoing, and has lots of energy for playing, running, and hiking. He would prefer an active home that stays busy (and has plenty of room for him to bark and play on). While Timber really enjoys the company of dogs outside the home (parks, walks, you name it), he loves to be king of the castle and would be happiest as an only dog child.** In his previous home, Timber lived with toddlers and found them to be very irritating. He would prefer mature kiddos in his future home. Timber's foster mom says that although he doesn't always do well with the other dogs in the home, when they are all out on their weekend hikes and adventures he is the best boy! He is a wonderful guardian and protector. One of their hikes took them across a fairly busy train track. They had gotten across and were a fair distance away when a train came. Timber had been running up ahead and sniffing around with the other dogs when he heard the train, came running back to his foster mom, stood in front of her, not in fear. He was fully puffed up, chest out, head up and ready to protect his mom from that train! He always alerts very quickly as well to anything that sounds off when they are out. He immediately comes to his foster mom, looks for the source of the new sound, and makes sure he knows where all the other dogs are. He really is an incredible boy! This boy has TONS of love to give and will make a great companion for his future family. Please fill out an application today! *Timber is on Earthborn Venture Polluck and Pumpkin dog food **Timber is not good in a house full of dogs (4 others) - he was OK with just one in the home with him

Adopt Timber and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Timber's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Timber's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Timber, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Timber's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Timber was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Timber’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Timber’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Timber’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
