About this Dog
Rufus is a super sweet pup who came to Faithful Friends on July 17th, 2020. Sadly, this guy found himself wandering all alone in the beginning of July, nobody came looking for him. By the time a kind citizen helped him make his way to us, you could tell Rufus had endured a lot. He is currently (7/23/2020) being treated for ear infections, eye infections and fur loss all over his body. Unfortunately, Rufus also presented with bite wounds all over his face and legs. Due to an unknown vaccination status, and his bite wounds, Delaware state law requires Rufus to be on a 6 month precautionary quarantine. Don't worry, though, Rufus will not let this get him down! As soon as staff walked outside to greet him, Rufus was craving human affection. He then made his way into the air conditioned building, flopped onto the clinic floor and gladly let our vet tech clean up his wounds. He didn't fuss at all for any of his medical intake! We have created this album on Facebook to share Rufus' story and progress with you throughout his quarantine! Rufus will stay at Faithful Friends for the duration of his 6 month quarantine, unless a suitable foster home can be found for him. Interested fosters must: -Be able to commit to the full remaining quarantine period -Live in the state of Delaware -Have no other animals -Have no children -Have a fenced in yard -Keep Rufus separated when company is over. If you are interested in fostering Rufus, and meet the above requirements, please email [email protected] for more information. Faithful Friends provides all supplies, food and medical care to foster homes. Unable to foster, but still want to help Rufus? Please consider making a donation to Faithful Friends! https://faithfulfriends.us/donate/ To stay up to date on Rufus during his quarantine, visit his album here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/ffasdelaware/photos/?tab=album&album_id=3368926009835896

100% of Rufus's Dogecoin balance will be sent to whoever adopts Rufus.
Adopt Rufus and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rufus's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Rufus's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Rufus, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rufus's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rufus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rufus’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Rufus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rufus’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
