About this pet

Kaiser - A Gentle Giant and all German Shepherd This friendly hunk is a German Shepherd, through and through.  Kaiser loves to play, whether it is chasing a ball, a big toy, or running around and just acting goofy.  Kaiser is one of the most handsome German Shepherds you will meet.  When you do meet Kaiser, he is extremely happy to make your acquaintance.  Kaiser will bond quickly to any new family. We do know that Kaiser was surrendered to Newark Shelter because his owners were moving and could not take him with them.  He is friendly around other dogs, and whines and pulls to meet them.  Kaiser is about 95 pounds and in good health though he would do well to start some supplements for his back legs.  He is 9 years old and is still intact.  We have not yet discussed with our vet if they feel the risk of surgery is worth getting him neutered.  We may adopt him intact or on a neuter contract, if he is not fixed by the time of adoption. Kaiser would do well in just about any household.  We believe he can live with other dogs, though not sure about cats. Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary's mission is to rescue adult and senior German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes and find them loving homes.  All of our dogs are fully vetted and up to date on all their shots Our adoption area includes New Jersey, Delaware Valley, Manhattan, Southern New York and Eastern Pennsylvania.  We may adopt to Connecticut depending on circumstances.  Please visit our website at www.sedonashepherd.com.
