About this Dog
To adopt please fill out an adoption Application “My gut tells me that Emma had a family at some point. She’s just too good of a dog. How she ended up on a country road in the middle of nowhere, I will never understand. The thought of this dog being abandoned by someone is so hard to fathom because she is so special. Sadly, dogs like Emma are a dime a dozen in the South. Large, mixed breed dogs that end up in our shelters simply because they grew up. They are no longer cute little puppies, so it seems their lives no longer matter. If they aren't dropped off at a shelter, they’re dropped off at the end of a deserted road. Discarded like trash. That is the story of Emma. In many ways, she’s still just like a little puppy. She’s playful and happy, loves the company of other dogs, craves the attention of a human. I knew the moment I rescued her, she was a keeper. Emma is a keeper if someone will only give her a chance.” Emma is a 2yo female American Staffordshire Terrier - Labrador Retriever - Weimeraner mix (per DNA testing) who was rescued as a stray in rural MS. Sweet, friendly, well-socialized, affectionate. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older due to her size and energy level. Medium-high energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Learning basic commands. Loves to be with her people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 60 pounds. AWESOME young dog will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family. Here's a note from her foster mom: "Emma is a very happy girl, sweet, energetic and SMART. She learns quickly, wants to please, and would be a star in obedience class! She walks well on a leash, and also loves to chase a tennis ball in the yard! Emma is totally housebroken, crate-trained, good with other dogs, and meets new people well! Emma would love to have a permanent home with an active family, maybe yours? To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Contact us at [email protected] visit us at http://www.happydogrescue.org

Adopt Emma and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Emma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Emma's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Emma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Emma's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Emma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Emma’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Emma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Emma’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
