About this Cat
My name is Butter and I’m a playful, snuggly bullseye tabby girl with a heart full of love that I’m ready to give to my forever mom or dad! I can be a little bit shy when I first meet you but I recognize my owner quickly and will run (and tumble!) towards you as fast as I can when you get home! I’m also a brave explorer and love wobbling my way around the room to check out my surroundings. I love to stare directly into your eyes when you sit on the floor and will gently paw at your face so you will nuzzle me into your neck. I’m told I have Cerebellar Hypoplasia, otherwise known as CH, otherwise known as Wobbly cat syndrome! But I truly don’t know what makes me different! I love to play, snuggle and have fun just like any other kitten my age! What makes me different also makes me 10 times more love able. My foster mom even says so! Butter is considered to have a moderate case of CH. she does require some litter box modifications. Carpet/rugs help her get around but she can handle a bit of hardwood/tile just fine! CH requires no medication, it doesn’t progress or reverse! She truly just wobbles as she walks . She was born around September 2019 and is being fostered at the Grafton Bentley’s Pet Stuff. Butter was diagnosed with FeLV (feline leukemia), so she’ll need a home without other cats as it is contagious, but only to other cats. It’s spread through the bodily fluids (saliva, urine, feces, etc.). She is currently healthy, but may experience a shorter lifespan because FeLV compromises the immune system making her more susceptible to illness. Like any cat, she’ll require high quality food and regular veterinary care and in return, you will receive unconditional love. Learn more about FeLV here: https://americanpetsalive.org/blog/saving-felv-cats-your-felv-questions-answered CH is a neurologic disorder that doesn't get worse and doesn't get better. CH most often causes jerky, shaky, unbalanced movements. There is no pain associated with CH and the cat knows no other life and often do great! You can learn more about CH here à http://chcat.org/about-ch-cats/ If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and microchipped.

Adopt Butter and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Butter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Butter's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Butter, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Butter's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butter’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Butter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Butter’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
