About this Dog
I’m Bruce Almighty and my foster family also calls me Good Boy because that is what I am. I'm a big solid boy and still have some growing to do. I am about 1.5 yrs old, a Hound/Shepherd mix, and I love to be with my foster humans I may not know many commands yet, but I walk good on a leash even without having been trained. My 13 year old foster human takes me on a run at least once a day to help me burn off the energy I have from laying by my foster Moms feet while she works on her computer. My foster Mom holds me when I see squirrels and other dogs walking though because I am very strong. I love when my foster families little people lay with me on the floor because I want that connection but sometimes I forget they are little and I knock them down or get excited. I still have to learn that using my mouth at play time isn't ok even though I’m gentle. I like going places in the car and want everyone to be my friend. People think I’m handsome and come to up the car to pet me through the window and I love it! I've only been out of the shelter for a little while now and I'm still getting used to a routine, but my foster Mom says that I'm going to be the best dog for the right family and will just need to learn commands and get lots of positive reinforcement. I don't know much about how to be a dog yet, but snow is amazing and I love to dig in the yard and run around super fast in the snow. I had my first visit to the groomer and he also said I was a good boy and was very tolerant. I chase the ball but don’t know what to do with it. I have some tug toys and I like to toss those around too. My foster Mom says another dog in my furever home would help me learn how to do all things dog and give me a playmate to burn off my extra energy. Right now I live with cats and I would like to play with them, but they aren't sure of me because I'm a big goofy boy. When they get mad and swat at me, I yelp and run away like a big chicken. I am happiest when I have my foster family near me, so I would benefit from someone who is home or not away for long hours and can make sure I get that physical connection I seek. My foster Mom leaves me home and uncrated for short trips out and I’m always waiting for her on my dog bed and I’ve never been bad while she is gone. I'm such a smart boy that my foster Mom says I will do great at obedience school and graduate top of my class. If you have a big active family with a yard and another dog I would be a great fit. Bruce's adoptive family should have a fully fenced in yard and no very small kids (6 and older please) The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we do the best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can make no guarantee. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! Adopt Bruce and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bruce's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Bruce's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bruce, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bruce's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bruce was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bruce’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Bruce’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bruce’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
