About this Dog
ADOPTION NOW PENDING! Name: Ross Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of July 2019 SEX: M Approximate Weight: 50 lbs Gets Along With: Other pups, older kids, and cats! Ross does well with young children but can be excitable. He also loves his bunny foster sister! Ross truly loves everything. Special Adoption Considerations: Ross still has some puppy-like behaviors and would love a running partner to help with his energy levels and training! Ross also recently had surgery to repair a shattered elbow - he is on the mends and still as happy and loving as ever but will need a family comfortable with what is left of his rehabilitation. Currently Living at: DC area foster home I’m Looking For: A family who can open their home to me and make me feel safe forever. I don't know how I ended up in this shelter but the nice people here keep saying my life is about to change for the better. I'm dreaming of dog parks, long walks, snuggles...I can't wait! What My Foster Says About Me: Ross is incredibly smart, eager to please and a quick study. He's one of the most fearless and loyal dogs I've ever met. He won't hesitate to back his pack. He's very patient and social - loves other dogs. Oh, and he's the world's best snuggler. He does best with a firm hand to help him understand his size/strength and what boundaries are. In most cases, he's just a big baby that doesn't know better. We're working on his patience (wait, stay, leave it) and what "no" means. If given the grace and discipline, I know he'll grow up and be the most well behaved guy! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any particular dog is housebroken. All our dogs are working on crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adopt Ross and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ross's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ross's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ross, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ross's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ross was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ross’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the Ross’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ross’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
