About this Dog
Can you imagine being all alone in a big scary world when you were just a baby? Well that’s what happened to our sweet little girl named Meredith. Luckily some good samaritans found her and called their local animal control officer. Unfortunately for Meredith, no one ever come forward to reclaim her. We are happy to say that this sweet girl is now a Dog Star and our army of volunteers will make certain she finds a home- forever! Meredith is about 5 months old and is approximately 25 lbs. We are guessing she is a gorgeous mix of a terrier and who knows what else. One thing for sure is that she is adorable. We are estimating that she will become a large size dog. One thing we know for sure is that Meredith will grow up to be a stunning girl! At 5 months old, Meredith is learning about the world around her. She enjoys people, well behaved children, and other dogs to play with. She hasn’t had the opportunity to meet a cat yet. Like all dogs her age, she will thrive in a home where lots of attention can be given to her to help her become an amazing lifelong companion. The perfect owner(s) will have the time, patience, and energy to help guide her through lots of exercise, socialization, and positive reinforcement. All of her house training, crate training, and leash training is in process. A typical 5 month old puppy who is on a proper house training program and getting appropriate exercise and attention, should be able to be crated for about 6 hours. A young pup will need a potty break after eating, sleeping, and playing- with a few extra breaks in between. As she begins her leash training it’s important to note that a puppies growth plate doesn’t close until 12 months old on average, so a half hour stroll for a pup this age is a good amount of exercise. So, for all those runners out there, you can plan those mile long runs for later. A puppy is an open book, and with the right training and guidance it will become an amazing dog. If you think you have what it takes to give Meredith the life she deserves, then please read on. Meredith’s fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, and transport/rescue fees. Interested in adopting Meredith? To get the ball rolling head over to http://www.dogstarrescue.org/the-form/ and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To help speed up the process, please call your vet and give them permission to speak with us. Adopt Meredith and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Meredith's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Meredith's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Meredith, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Meredith's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Meredith was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Meredith’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Meredith’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Meredith’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
