About this Cat
Meet Kitty! On December 23, 2018 there was a cat sitting at the corner store of 27th and Master. She was visibly injured, cold and hungry. I’m not a cat person, so I didn’t pay her much attention until I came out of the store and the cat hadn’t moved. I walked home and grabbed some dog food and when I went back, she was still sitting on the same corner, shaking. I offered her the food and she scarfed it down within seconds… Long story short, I took that cat home and introduced her to my dogs. She was very timid at first but always very friendly. It was 2+ weeks before I was able to bring her to the vet and everyone at the animal hospital loved her! They couldn’t get over how good she was. That’s when I found out that she was a female, she was spayed and was approximately 7 years old. She was microchipped and the vet was able to get ahold of her previous owners who kicked her to the curb 1.5 years ago due to fleas. Hearing how they kicked their house cat to the streets and did not care about her current condition broke my heart-which is why I decided to keep her a little longer. Hearing her story encouraged me to get her fully vaccinated and up to date on all medications as well as having an x-ray done on her paw. Overtime, ‘Kitty’ has become so brave! She used to stay locked in her room and wouldn’t play with toys or really do much of anything. Now, she roams the entire house and even plays with my dogs. She is very brave and super cute. I am so hopeful that we can find this kitty a good home. After all that she has been through, she definitely deserves it. I’m even going to miss her when she’s gone! She is no longer limping, she is nice and clean, her fleas are gone and she is a healthy weight. Adopt Kitty and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kitty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Kitty's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Kitty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kitty's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kitty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kitty’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Kitty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kitty’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
