About this Dog
IN VERMONT Meet handsome Tripawd Hunter! Video to come! Hunter is approx. 13 mos. old (approx. DOB 12-20-17), male, 50 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Hunter is a VERY special boy who has been through a lot. He was out of time when we found him at the shelter; he was turned in presumablydue to being hit by a car while homeless on the streets. His right rear le g was broken with a puncture wound and his front leg had an injury also. After an orthopedic consult an orthopedic consult in SC the specialist recommended amputation of the rear right limb at the body line. The doc said if we were to try to save the leg with a compound fracture of this nature would have left Hunter with a significantly shorter leg and a limp, with only a 50-60% chance of saving the leg in the end. His front leg injured potentially at the same time seems to have healed without any pain. Per his SC caretaker "this young boy is the most self-assured, well-adjusted dog I have fostered in a while. He has stolen my heart. He is already climbing stairs ( post amputation of his back right leg). He will just continue to get better and thrive. His forever family will be VERY LUCKY. He is adjusting remarkably well with only moderate pain symptoms." Stay tuned for more information as Hunter is a new rescue! If you are interested in adopting Hunter please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site) thanks! Adopt Hunter and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hunter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Hunter's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Hunter, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hunter's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hunter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hunter’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Hunter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hunter’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
