About this Dog

Lexie is a tan and black senior dog and has been with us since a puppy. She was born on 7/10/2011 and is an AKC registered dog. She is current on her vaccination, her Rabie shot is good until 7/10/2023. She has been neutered. In her younger age she had puppies and was an excellent mother. Lexie has been neutered. She was not raised around children and has recently been moved to SD from Ky. It has been a confusing year for her since our home sold so we moved out a month before leaving for SD Because of this she has lived at 3-4 different locations. She is house trained but from all the moving she will need to be house specific refreshed. Lexie is a true lap dog and is her happiest when sitting on someone's lap getting attention. She would not be recommended for a family with young children. She has nipped at a young child that was pulling on her and so she is not recommended for family with young children. She is fine with my grandbaby but not with other babies or young children. We have moved into an apartment here and are on a fixed income. We have to pay Pet fees monthly and can no longer afford the cost. We are both elderly with health issues and can not provide care she deserves. She will make a great companion for someone who wants to give and get a lot of attention and love.

Adopt Lexie and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lexie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Lexie receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lexie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Lexie's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lexie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lexie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Lexie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lexie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
