About this Dog
Meet Brody. This guy lived with an owner in a rural part of SC . Due to circumstances beyond Brody's control, his owner could no longer take care of him and he landed in an overcrowded shelter. He stood very little chance of being adopted in SC because there are significantly less homes than homeless dogs. Brody is described as a great little pup. He is a little timid when he first meets someone new but the shelter staff report that he warms up quickly. He is good with everyone and mild-mannered. He'll make a great companion for someone searching for a smaller sized lab mix. Brody arrived on 10/27 and is being fostered in Bethesda, MD. He's living in a condo as an only dog with a mom and 12 year old girl. He's crate trained, and has been doing great on leash walks, meeting people and dogs in his new community. We are still getting to know him, so more to come as he settles in. He's a bit thin, so we are feeding him an extra meal every day to help him get back to an optimal weight. If you are interested in Brody, please apply to learn more and meet him. Breed: Lab mix Age: 1-2 years Size: 22 lbs but needs to gain some weight Vetting: Up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, dewormed.
