About this Dog
Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs. NYS Registered Rescue # RR102 Children in the home must be at least 6 years old. Previous dog experience is required, preferably large breed. Female Great Pyrenees rarely cohabitate with other females successfully. Our goal is for each adoption to be a permanent placement, therefore homes that already have a female dog are not eligible to adopt a female Pyr. Adorable Annie is searching for her furever home! She’s not complaining about her former “hard- knock life,” as she’s living it up in her foster home, indulging in cheese and peanut buttery treats! This beautiful girl is a Pyr mix, and has the most gorgeous tan and black markings. She does well meeting new people and loves to cuddle, which is good because she has long, soft fur that’s just begging to be pet! Annie is leash trained, housetrained, and will “sit” and “lay down” on command. She can be placed as an only dog, or with other pups and/or cats – she gets along with everyone. True to her Pyrenees nature, she is a medium-level barker with a sweet and mellow personality, and a love for snuggles. She’s crossing her paws for a yard with a tall fence (she has an excellent vertical leap!), and maybe a sandbox where she can play and dig! Annie knows that the sun will come out tomorrow, and looks forward to the day when she can see that sunrise with her furever family.
