About this Cat

I've had Zoe for almost 3 years. She is approximately 4 years old, spayed, weighs just a few pounds, eats and drinks regularly. Zoe is playful and very sweet. She doesn't cuddle much and it takes a decent time to build trust with her. She is not good with other cats and is terrified of dogs. She just got blood work/x-rays done a few months ago because she had bloody stool. The results came back completely normal. They gave us an antibiotic and it worked just fine. Zoe urinates on ALL furniture that has fabric and she also does that on the carpet against walls/corners. She also has a bad habit of scratching the doorframes apart until they are raw. Although at first, she seems afraid of the outdoors, after some time, she does get used to it and enjoys herself. An ideal place would be a home with a fenced dirt or grass backyard, a cat post for her to sit and scratch on, and maybe a deck to hide under. She loves hunting bugs and birds (she has never been successful with birds). We have tried many solutions to fix her urination problems and nothing has worked. Having moved into a new apartment recently, we just can't afford to take care of her and her messes anymore. She absolutely needs to be an outdoor cat with a backyard or front yard, and unfortunately, we won't be able to provide that for quite some time. I think she liked the backyard more at our old place because of the fence. She really is a cute and loving cat when she's in the right environment. I got Zoe from another family who (I'm assuming) had the exact same problem. She has always been an indoor cat except for a year she was indoor/outdoor. As far as I know, she has had her shots according to what the previous family told me.

Adopt Zoe and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zoe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Zoe receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Zoe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Zoe's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zoe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zoe’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Zoe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zoe’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
