About this Reptile
Mika is almost 6 years old, and I've had her since she hatched. She's a nervous iguana, and needs somewhere with NO children, no loud animals and no cats. She is very cage defensive, but chills out once she's been taken out. She doesnt like to come out on her own much due to being nervous, but she loves to lay in the sun and watch people do laundry. She had a recent vet appointment, and she's perfectly healthy, eating 2 or 3 times a day and shedding like crazy. She has some nose rub, but it's healed now and just looks like pale scales on her nose. Early in her life (at about 2 years old) she had a broken toe from a bad jump, but that's also been healed and hasn't bothered her since. She has her bed that she loves, and likes laying in her hammock. She's out grown her enclosure and will need a new, bigger one right away. She'll come with her enclosure and everything in it. Some of her favorite foods are dandelions, yellow and orange bell peppers, and she is CRAZY about apples, if she even smells one she'll start trying to find it and get some of it. She's the same way with pita bread but only as a very rare treat. Her name is Mika, but she listens to Bean rather, it's her nickname but it stuck with her it seems. She loves laying with comfy arms and putting her back leg over her tail when she's sleepy. She loves her bed and rubs her face on it even when she's not shedding. I love her so much, and this is hard for me to do. She needs a home that's calm, with people who are experienced with large intelligent reptiles, iguana experience recommend. If you don't have iguana experience I'll still consider so long as you prove you're prepared. Someone with a lot of time and patience as well, as you both will need it. She is nervous and defensive at first but she will warm up with time and patience. She is not yet full grown- she is still getting bigger and she will be Very Big when she's an adult and will need much more space than what I can give her. I'm asking $250 rehoming fee for her.

After verifying the adoption, Mika (Bean)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mika (Bean) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mika (Bean)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
