About this Dog
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Gender: Male Estimated Date of Birth: December 23, 2017 Size: 68 lbs Location: Marietta, GA RESCUING CAMO Camo ended up at Henry County Animal Control where pit bulls are not adopted out to the public. Lucky for him, FTTF has some amazing foster families! Camo was on a foster to adopt with a family, but they decided their teenager was not pulling her weight when it came to taking care of him so they returned him. Camo had no problem adjusting to a new foster home with dogs he had never met before. This guy is solid! ABOUT CAMO Camo is a fantastic, goofy boy. A Wisdom Panel DNA test revealed that he is 100% American Staffordshire Terrier. He has a medium energy level and is well-behaved in the home. He loves to play a good game of fetch as it's his all-time favorite activity. Seriously, the ball is life! Although he is not overly demanding in his exercise requirements, he does benefit from a bit of daily exercise. A simple 15 minute session of fetch with a Chuck-It is enough to keep him happy. He actually seems to enjoy (and is quite good at) walking on the treadmill too. Camo also loves toys and will entertain himself for hours with a plain and simple Kong. He still thinks he is a small puppy and is not aware of his massive size, but he is a super-snuggler and will happily lounge on the sofa with his family. He loves to roughhouse with doggie foster siblings and he even takes correction from the bossier lady in the home, however he is not suited for a home with cats or children under 12 years old. He would do great as an only dog or in a home with a female pittie. He is rocking his house-manners and "Good Boy" is his favorite phrase to hear aside from "Are You Hungry" or "Play Ball." Without daily exercise, a state of playful excitement is easily incited where he gets extra silly and boisterous. He thrives on firm, consistent boundaries, but he does listen to direction and he will need a savvy owner with strong leadership skills. Camo can be a bit sensitive so a stern voice correction is all he needs to put his listening ears on. He knows he is not allowed in the kitchen when food is being prepared so with a finger snap he is quick to exit and sit at the boundary. His foster mom tries to discourage begging too so he will also get in his bed or out of the room when people are eating. He is crate-trained and housebroken. Just call him Mister Personality - everyone that meets him falls in love! This goober-face is just a big, mushy, enthusiastic puppy who is looking for a forever family to call his own. Camo has been eating Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin Dry Dog Food. It is not a prescription diet and can be ordered on Chewy or purchased from any pet store. The NutriSource food eaten by the other dogs in our program was a tad bit rich for him and he had loose poops. There are likely other foods he would do well on, this was just the first alternative we tried. Camo also takes 1 Apoquel tablet a day to keep his environmental allergies at bay. We just toss it in his bowl with his dinner and he eats it - easy! Adopt Camo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Camo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Camo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Camo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Camo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Camo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Camo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Camo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Camo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
