About this Cat
Adopted Fluffer from our vet after losing another beloved cat. Fluffer is a Calico who is about 10 years old, timid until she gets to know you....then she loves being next to you, licking you, and appreciates lots of petting and brushing. Fluffer would do well in an adult home without another cat...less scary for her to acclimate easier. Fluffer is a Calico breed...Calicos are supposed to bring good luck. I have asthma and have had lung cancer (although I have never smoked). With 1/2 a lung removed 2 years ago, getting older, and with my allergies & asthma worsening, Fluffer's dander is causing me to have increased breathing difficulties. Yet, as a cancer survivor, I believe Fluffer has been our lucky charm. Fluffer eats well...she is about 18 pounds. My husband & I love Fluffer very, very much and are very hurt to consider giving her up for adoption. However, my breathing is becoming more difficult with each passing day. I hope there is someone out there who can give Fluffer the love & kindness she deserves...and which she will return manifold.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Fluffer's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fluffer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fluffer’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
