About this Dog
Kaylee is a lovely 4 year old dog with a good heart, but who has had a difficult life. She is a 50 lb Boxer mix with a beautiful brindle coat that is especially soft. She loves to cuddle under the blankets and share buttered popcorn, catching it right from the air. If you play the harmonica or recorder, she will sing along with you. She gets so excited when you come in that her whole body curls into a doughnut, not sure whether she’d rather have you pet her head or her flanks first. She is swift and active, loving to run more than anything else. Kaylee is an anxious dog, whose past has made her afraid of people and dogs alike. This fear can manifest as aggression when she is particularly anxious. When she came to us she was covered in scars and was very distrustful. While she has come a long way, learning to love and trust again, we have a small child who doesn’t always listen to her cues when she asks to be left alone. She is especially afraid of children between the age of 6 and 12, preferring big, burly men. Her athleticism allows her to jump fences if she is nervous, so she must always be on leash. She needs a quiet life, in a home without children or other dogs.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kaylee's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kaylee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kaylee’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
