Once her babies were weaned, it was clear she was too affectionate to return to the outdoor life—so now she’s looking for a cozy forever home of her own. She’s gentle, affectionate, and a little sassy in the best way. Artemis loves to dole out affection—and yes, that includes her signature soft love bites (don’t worry, they never hurt—she’s just a little passionate!) She’s curious, loving, and would thrive in a calm home where she can soak up attention and return it tenfold. She’s spayed, microchipped. FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She is litter box trained, and ready to leave her farm life behind for good. With her tipped ear as a badge of survival and sweetness, Artemis is looking for someone who will cherish her the way she’s always deserved. Harlow's Haven Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization the focus on saving the lives of at risk and homeless cats in our community. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Artemis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Artemis’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Artemis’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Artemis’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
