Meadow would be a great companion for an adult cat. Meadow is a silly kitty--she enjoys the presence of humans she knows but doesn't necessarily seek out human affection. While she may not love to be pet, when you do get a chance to pet her she realizes she likes it and will start to purr. She is shy but will sleep in bed with you. She is shy but will jump up next to you on the couch and look at you curiously. She is shy but will hang out when you are making dinner or watching TV. She does seem to have an affection for adult cats (maybe those cats who are not quit as into rough play). If you have a lonely cat, Meadow would be happy to keep them company. Meadow would also be happy to be adopted with one (or both) of her siblings. Meadow may not do well during a meet and greet but with the right person and home setting, Meadow will be able to shine and be the kitty she wants to be.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Meadow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Meadow’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Meadow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Meadow’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
