Meet Bruno!! This sweet boy has had a tough past but he is ever so resilient! He LOVES people but no kitties, please! He has had a tough time recently so currently he needs to be your one and only pet. Bruno knows hand commands for sit, down, and place. He is so smart! He is housebroken BUT he does not handle change well so please expect some accidents during the first week or so in his new home. Once he settles in, when he wants or needs to go out, he will bark OR he nibbles on your knees and elbows. Yes, this sounds strange but he is trying to "talk" to you! Bruno loves to lay on the floor or couch and have his belly and neck scratched. He loves to chew on toys, and play with treat filled toys. He loves watching out the windows and observing what's going on in his neighborhood. Bruno would love best to live in a quiet home, he loves a country setting! Any family would be lucky to have him. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bruno was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bruno’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bruno’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bruno’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
