Beautiful Miley, the long-haired beauty is so loving, it's hard to believe this sweet angel was living on the street. She's a gentle kitty who loves petting and attention from people, which means she was someone's pet before being put outside to fend for herself. But Miley aka Milagro survived, truly living up to her name, which means "miracle" in Spanish. She is good with other sweet, non-aggressive cats and great alone as well. Miley aka Milagro is a sweet, loving cat who is looking for a wonderful furrever home where she can soak up lots of love and live out her life in comfort and safety. She may be a bit shy when she first meets you but she loves to be pet, brushed and adores affection and will come around quickly to giving you love. Mileyhas a hematoma in one ear, which just means her ear looks a little different (kind of like cauliflower!) but it is painless and requires regular cleanings with a little squirt of soap and a long q-tip (we will provide that) to clean the inside. Miley is estimated to be about 8 years old, a possible Maine Coon mix and is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, had a dental recently, is microchipped and negative for FIV and FeLV. Please also note that while her long fur makes for a beautiful look, it requires additional care: weekly brushings. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Miley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Miley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Miley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Miley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
