Eddie's life has been rough considering he was found laying next to an abandoned house in South Texas unable to move when SNARR rescued him. After much veterinary treatment he has regained almost all of his mobility. He can walk up stairs and run around the yard like a champ! Eddie gets along with other dogs very nicely. And would love a home with a fur or human sibling to run around with. He really enjoys playing with his active Australian cattle dog foster brother, they both have similar energy. And boy does he know how to cuddle, he has even mastered sleeping in his dog bed upside down. Eddie has not pottied in the house even once since arriving to his foster home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Eddie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Eddie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Eddie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Eddie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
