KIDS ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FREINDS! Playing dress up is my specialty! I am wokring hard on my manners and commands. I will do just about anything for a treat! I love to go for walks and my pace is right by your side! I don't mind relaxing by myself and won't even chew your favorite shoes!Lucy was rescued from the cruel streets of Houston and she surprised her foster family with a growing belly! She had 7 healthy and chunky babies (who are all adopted now) and took great care of them. All her puppies found furever homes and now it's Lucy's turn. Lucy is estimated to be around 4 years old, spayed and successfully completed fast kill heartworm treatment and now gets her advantage multi every month to keep away those pesky squitos! She’s a mello gal that loves nothing more then to hang out with her person. She enjoys chillin' and cuddling on the sofa, binge watching another Netflix series sounds like an awesome idea to our darling Lucy. She adores humans (especially kids) and gets along with other mellow dogs.Lucy needs a home with no cats or small dogs. Lucy would love a home with a mello canine buddy her size or she would be just as happy to be the only pup soaking up all the attention her humans will give. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy 2 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy 2’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lucy 2’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lucy 2’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
