HISTORY: YAKKO (EL MEDIO 1) is one of several cats and kittens trapped and rescued during the 2020 Medio fire. We are not sure how the cate are related. TEMPERAMENT: YAKKO is semi-social and interactive with humans and cats. He enjoys petting in return for Churu or crunchy treats. YAKKO gets along with other female and submissive cats but is less fond of male cats. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Yakko (El Medio 1) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Yakko (El Medio 1)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
