About this Dog
Brenda Lee is a highly active and agile little girl and has been seen doing some amazing moves such as being able to get over a 48" xpen to get to a fur friend, or the not-actually-seen move of skimming a 6 ft kennel fense to get on top of the roof of the foster's home. HOWEVER, the good thing is that as soon as she saw and heard her foster mom calling her, she quickly jumped down apparently the way she went up so we knew how to block her from doing it again. Since she is still a puppy and has MORE-THAN-ENOUGH energy than she needs to have bottled up, we recommend a 6 ft fense and supervision in the yard until it is known if she can climb the fense. Exercise and being with her own people will likely curve this. She is very social. She wants to play some fetch with things she picks up. A runner who wants a partner on a leash would be a grand opportunity. She is attached to people and will try to kiss you in the face but a little too much puppy teeth going on so small kids are not recommended, at least until she/we/you can tame those love bites. That will come in time. Someone that is willing to take her to some obedience training would be helpful too...unless there is enough exercise going on to keep her calm.

Please begin the process of claiming Brenda Lee's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Brenda Lee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Brenda Lee’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Brenda Lee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Brenda Lee’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
