About this Dog
Glen Fry is a German Shephard mix that came to our shelter surrendered with his mother and his sister Winslow Arizona when he was just a puppy. His starfish volunteer likes to carry him like a baby because… well he lets her and he likes to show the other dogs how much he gets cuddled. Once he is outside he thrives! He loves to walk on the leash and he warms up pretty quickly (30 minutes and you might be his new best friend). Glen likes other dogs and has been tested with small dogs and didn’t seem to notice they were playing while he was exploring the play area. He was in the same kennel as his sister for the first two years of his life and if she didn’t decide to tattoo his ear he would still be with her. He misses that companionship in a friend or side kick. He’s such a sweet boy and is looking for his forever home that will help bring out his confidence with a little love and affection. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Glen Frye was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Glen Frye’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Glen Frye’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Glen Frye’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
