About this Cat
It's a good thing that cats have nine lives because Mittens needs them all. This playful kitten was born with a curved spine and swimmer's legs, a congenital condition that affects the legs of kittens, causing them to splay out to the sides instead of under their body. We have taken care of her legs and she now runs and plays like a happy kitten. Mittens also has a pretty significant heart murmur and may need medication in the future. As far as Mittens is concerned, she is a normal kitten and she enjoys running, playing and doing all the things normal kittens do. There is a chance she will be a special-needs cat for life. We know there is a special person out there who will love Mittens for who she is, not what she has. If you are interested in adopting Mittens, we will provide you with detailed information._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Mittens is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET MittensThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Mittens and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.org

Adopt Mittens and Receive Mittens's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mittens's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mittens's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mittens, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mittens's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mittens was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mittens’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mittens’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mittens’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
