This is Sweetie. She is a beautiful girl who adores human attention and gets along well with her many kitty roommates. She is more of a loner and would probably enjoy being an only cat. Sweetie enjoys her catio time each day and snuggles in her bed at night. We think Sweetie would love a screened-in porch or at least a window perch where she can lounge in the sun. Sweetie is well loved but her person faces a terminal illness. Sweetie needs a new furrever home where she will be equally loved and receive the attention she craves. Cyd died 1/26/25 and Sweetie is still waiting to be chosen. You will see in Sweetie's video that we gave her a shorter cut for summer, but she'll be fluffy again! Sweetie's adoption fee is $150. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sweetie *Cyd's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sweetie *Cyd was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sweetie *Cyd’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sweetie *Cyd’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sweetie *Cyd’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
