About this Dog
Breed: Pit Bull X DOB: 7/2017 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: short Size: large Color(s): grey / white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Shef, a strong and incredibly handsome Pit Bull X. I was rescued from a shelter just in the nick of time, and I am so grateful to have a second chance at finding a forever home. I am in need of some leash training, but I'm a fast learner and am eager to please. I am an adventurous explorer and love to take walks, so I definitely need a home where I can get plenty of exercise and adventures. I may prefer to be the only dog in the household as I am not sure how I feel about other dogs. At the shelter they said I wasn't good with other dogs. Since coming to CARL I have not shown that behavior. I did stand up for myself when a dog was loose and came charging aggressively at me, but I was not the instigator. It's unknown how I would do with children or cats. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.
Contribute to Shef's Stash!

100% of Shef's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Shef.
Adopt Shef and Receive Shef's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Shef's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Shef's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Shef, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Shef's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shef was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shef’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Shef’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shef’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
