About this Dog
Bella is a beautiful 4-year-old Greyhound mix who will be celebrating her 5th birthday on November 29th! She’s a sweet, loving, and affectionate girl who enjoys human companionship, attention, and being surrounded by people who love her.
Bella has been a cherished part of our family for nearly five years, and finding her a new home is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make.
While Bella has a wonderful personality around people and has never shown aggression toward humans in our experience, she began experiencing behavioral challenges with other dogs earlier this year. Unfortunately, she has been involved in three dog-on-dog attacks, including serious injuries requiring surgery and stitches.
Because of this, Bella needs to be the only pet in her future home. We are looking for an experienced, patient, and understanding individual or rescue who can safely manage her behavioral needs and help her receive appropriate professional guidance.
Bella is currently unspayed, and her veterinarians have discussed possible hormonal contributions to her behavior, although the exact cause is unknown.
Due to an unexpected change in our living situation, we are urgently searching for a safe and responsible placement for Bella.
We know that Bella has challenges, but we also know the affectionate, loving dog she is with people. Our greatest hope is to find someone qualified who can give her an opportunity for a safe and fulfilling life.
We are happy to discuss her complete behavioral history openly with anyone seriously considering helping her.

How will Bella receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bella, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bella's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bella was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bella’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Bella’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bella’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
