Ghost found her way into her foster's backyard before a storm last November. Initially shy, Ghost is a quiet and sweet feline who enjoys the comfort of sleeping on the bed, curling up at your feet, and staying close to you. Although she prefers not to be picked up, she’s happy to be held on your lap while you’re seated. Ghost has a strong affinity for treats and loves to watch BirderKing on YouTube. She’s not fond of dogs and will not thrive in a home with young children, as she tends to hide and avoid them. Ghost is okay with other cats, but she doesn't care about them as long as they leave her alone. She would be okay as an only cat. She is not thrilled with being picked up, placed in a cat carrier, nor being kenneled/caged. She is spayed, tested, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her estimated birthdate is 6/1/2023, and her adoption fee is $140.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ghost was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ghost’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ghost’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ghost’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
