Thread: Strays in Puerto Rico...need help in finding homes

I live in Coamo, Puerto Rico and have been helping stray dogs for about 1 year. Its so sad that for every one I help there is 15 more. I want to continue to nurse dogs back to health but I need to find loving homes for the ones that have had all their vet visits. If anyone can give me any suggestions on ways to finding good homes it wil be greatly apperciated.

Sounds like you have been doing some amazing work - something that I'm sure both the animals that you've helped and people around you are benefiting from.
If I were you, I'd try posting the strays on craigslist or petfinder and hope that someone is looking. Other than that, if there is a local pet store, they might let you put up some free advertising with posters of the strays that currently need homes.
