Homeward Pet Adoption Center was founded in 1990 as "Hooterville Safehaus" to provide a safe haven for orphaned cats and dogs and to educate the public about the need to spay and neuter their pets. In 2002 we changed our name to Homeward Pet Adoption Center. We are a no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter, which means we are a 501(c)(3) charity. We are able to do what we do thanks to the generosity of our donors - YOU!
