Pointe Coupee Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization formed by volunteers dedicated to making life better for the people and animals in Pointe Coupee Parish by: * Pulling together community resources to build and operate an animal shelter; * Providing Rescue and Adoption programs for unwanted pets; * Promoting issues, awareness, and enforcement of animal related laws, including those regarding cruelty, neglect, and dangerous animals; * Educating Citizens of the parish on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets and the responsibilities of pet ownership.
