Friends of the Animals was formed in August of 2001. We opened our doors in May of 2003 and within 6 months we had adopted out over 755 animals. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization. Committed to the animals, we strive to promote humane principles, prevent cruelty, and alleviate the pain and suffering of animals. We work with the city of Tipton to establish ordinances for animal welfare. Currently we accommodate the cities of Tipton, Bennett, and Lowden with Animal Control services. Residents of these cities with an Animal Control question or emergency are encouraged to call your local police or Sheriff department.
